As a life long lover of all things wild, it was hardly surprising that when I
picked up my first DSLR camera over ten years ago, I would immediately be drawn
to wildlife photography.
I am self taught, but have always welcomed hints and tips from
friends and family. This has lead to the success of having my photos
printed in periodicals such as BBC Wildlife magazine. I now use my DSLR in conjunction with my bridge camera and mobile phone. I aim to
record the beauty as well as the fascinating behaviour of the
wildlife around us. Whether that is an everyday handsome robin, the
intrinsic detail of ant or the extraordinary colours of butterflies.
As I am British based, I like to see what I can find on my doorstep.
The wildlife under our nose can often be missed, yet it is a simple
pleasure to enjoy everyday. I will also take the opportunity to
travel when it arises, either to the opposite side of the country or
the world. For me that is a treat to appreciate the splendour of
life across our world and have the honour to record it via my
camera.
I hold a degree in wildlife and habitat conservation and my vocation
is conservation education which brings me so much joy!
In the 2021 lockdown, I took the opportunity to teach myself both
video editing and website design. Bringing these new skills together
with my photography and art, I have created this website. All the
work is my own (unless otherwise stated).
This website is my opportunity not just to share my photographs, but
also my passion and enthusiasm for the natural world!

"Are not five sparrows sold for two
pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed,
the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be
afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." |
